Paula - Simply The Best

I have been a Paula fan since I first saw her singing "Mo-Noi" and it didn't occur to me that she would only be the ONE singer which I have adored this long. It just happened naturally and she is my number ONE still even up till today. It doesn't matter what the charts or the sale figures say. What matters is good music to my ear. Everything she does seems to fall into place. It's almost magical.

Paula is a living proof and the living miracle in our lives. I didn't realise that there were so many songs from her compilation which were so good and I have never heard of. My recently acquired few proved that very point. I don't understand 80% of the lyrics, so it takes me much longer to figure every song out.

Every song she did is basically like a masterpiece painting to me. Every breadth she took to utter every line in a song was like the blood that flows from her body to our soul, giving endlessly and not asking anything in return. You could hear her unspoken thoughts, felt her presence in the room, her energy surrounding us, like a chant that's both guiding and protective.

Paula, simply the best.
