"FansOfPaula" is a group of Paula Tsui fans, who do not know each other before going to Paula's series of 18 concerts in 1995 . Every night after the show, dedicated fans would gather around the backstage exit of the Hong Kong Colesium, hoping to meet with Paula in a close distance. They would wait quietly for 45 minutes to an hour and they were never disappointed. When Paula came out, she would greet her fans, shaking hands with each and every one, patiently autographed for her fans until all her fans were satisfied.

In these 18 nights of waiting, some fans saw familiar faces among them and became friendly with each other. After the last show, Paula was so relaxed that she let her fans take pictures with her in turn. This prompted the fans to organize further meetings among them to watch and exchange their photos taken. It was found that quite a number of these photos were quite "good"! Someone suggested to put them into a photo album and present a copy to Paula.

This opportunity came very soon in the summer of the same year, when Paula was to appear in the "Proejct Sunshine" concert organized by Radio Hong Kong. When leaving the show, the fans presented Paula with the album and told her that this tiny group of her fans was to call themselves the "FansOfPaula". Some reporters were on the spot and the brief meeting with Paula appeared in the newspaper.
