Paula to be awarded the "Silver Jubilee Golden Hits Honourable Award" It was announced yesterday that to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the "Top 10 Chinese Golden Hits Annual Award", Radio Hongkong will be holding its award concert and presentation in the Shatin Racecourse on January 17th 2003. Last year, Radio Hongkong presented the "Silver Jubilee Golden Hits Honourable Award" to Roman Tam, one of the award winners of Radio Hongkong's "Golden Needle" award. In the upcoming presentation ceremony, Radio Hongkong will present the same award to all other "Golden Needle" award winners, in recognition to their contribution to the local music scene. These winners include Paula Tsui, Sam Hui, the Wynners, Teresa Tang, Anita Mui, Joseph Koo, Jacky Cheung, etc. The "Golden Needle" award has been the most honourable award presented each year by Radio Hongkong in its "Top 10 Chinese Golden Hits" annual award presentation since its 8th event in January 1986. Paula Tsui received her "Golden Needle" award in the 12th "Top 10 Chinese Golden Hits" presentation in January 1990. 2002/11/6 |
