This web site is built jointly by a group of devoted Paula Tsui fans. The original site was first designed in May 2001 by Lily Yu, a 20+ student at the Wubi Art College. Like many others in China, Lily first saw Paula when Paula first appeared on TV in China for the 1989 New Year Show, and has remained a fan ever since. Lily started to build a web page for Paula in May 2001 in Simplified Chinese form, and put her drawings and paintings of Paula in the site. She played around pictures of Paula with Photoshop and produced some impressive images. Her message board also attracted a few other dedicated fans. One of these is FanOfPaula.

The FansOfPaula is a tiny group of Paula Tsui fans in Hong Kong. They are long-time Paula Tsui fans, some of them since the late 70s, and early 80s. They are infrequent web surfers, with the exception of perhaps one, FanOfPaula. FanOfPaula was impressed by Lily's web site and started to join her to host a Traditional Chinese version of it in Hong Kong. The English title of the web site, "The Unforgettable Paula Tsui" was also named, when the site in Hong Kong was first launched in September, 2002. Incidentally, this was the first web site on Paula that provides information on both Traditional and Simplified Chinese versions.

Other FansOfPaula members contributed to provide a lot of their rare collections, news clips, photos to help make the site more informational. The artistic look and feel remains largely the credit of Lily. Within 8 months, the 45MB storage capacity allowed by the free-hosting was packed to full capacity. This has just pushed forward many plans in progress, one of this is to release the English version of the web pages. With a quick decision and short work schedule to meet, May 1, 2002 was picked as another milestone for our site, the release of this Chinese/English version of "The Unforgettable Paual Tsui" on a new URL address - www.PaulaTsuiFans.com.
